This work reconsiders the increasingly uncontrollable desire of fashion consumers towards a way of consuming that is ethical, sustainable and local. In this perspective, it also encourages all forms of creativity and the appropriation of materials necessary to its own identity or sty



I first made photos of layers of second hand clothing and clothing made in Canada. I then cut out these pictures and layered them on mannequins that I designed. After that, I printed the photographs and added materials and fabric scraps from Montreal designers on them. I then took photos of the final result.

The mannequins I designed are also meant to be inclusive and demystify beauty standards.
