Charlotte Juillard presents lavastone, a collection developped with the support of the Neapolitan company Ranieri Pietra Lavica whose workshops are located at the foot of Mount Vesuvio. This family company employ stone artisans whose skills have been handed down over the centuries in traditions that
live on in southern Italy.
Lavastone's properties justify its permanent interest. Among its qualities lay its hardness, its narrow link with earth and Italian territory, its resistance to high and low temperatures.
Charlotte & Giovanni Ranieri meet in 2016 during Charlotte's residence in Fabrica ( Treviso, Italy ). During this one year and a half stay she travels around Italy and discover craftmen and local know-how. Seduced buy the stone materials she proposes to Giovanni a collaboration, follow the lavastone collection.
This collection unites three items: a daybed, a side table and a mirror.
Through these objects, Charlotte intends to combine the raw quality of the material with feminine sensibility and design.
With this collection, she thrives to present this spectacular material through pure and geometrical shapes bringing forward colors and textures
