The collection consists of 6 symbols of respect to the animals sacrificed for human needs and desires. I made 12 leather pelts 10 sheeps and 2 goats. Like most leathers, these are by products of animals farmed for meat. Unlike most leathers, I tanned these with spruce bark and in a traditional way. T
he leather is shaped onto the body by wet molding. The wood is shaped with layered wood veneers onto molds. All accessories are natural materials. The collection takes conceptual inspirations from art movements of the likes of Yves Klein and Joseph Beuys, and from religous symbolism. Visual research include works of Schiaparelli and Robert Mercier.
