It also makes a reassuring noise when it closes, which can be useful for blind people.

This project took place during my second bachelor's year in ECAL. It was monitored by designer Friederike Daumiller as the association “ASA Handicap Mental” and is part of their inclusive fashion program called “tu es canon”. The prototype was designed in 3d printing but was conceived for polyamide injection moulding. The project was exhibited at the MUDAC museum in Lausanne and allowed me to have an interview in “Artiset” magazine, which specializes in the field of the elderly and disabled.

I really enjoyed working for a noble cause, and the feedback was very encouraging and warm as it will continue to influence the way I design.
