This performance is part of the exploration for my master's graduation project 'Logela'. This project is aiming to explore the possibility of merging performative methodologies into a creative process. In this case, this study will consist of a 10-hour isolation piece that will feature the fear piece
s #1 & #2.
These fear pieces consist of two packages with a 'plain' piece of fabric inside each of them. These have been given to a person and asked to explore their fears and anxieties towards it. Once this action has been done, they have given the package to another person, and so on. These pieces have been performed by 7 different people, and they have come back to their origin.
The second half of this exploration of the fear resides in this performance. I will open them for the first time. Reflect on how people have explored their fears. Act on it myself.
After that i will build these two pieces into a more 'wearable' garment - the time limit will be within these 10 hours. There is no interruption. No distractions. No outside stimulations. Just raw isolation from the outside world which directly relates to my deepest fears.
