AW 21/22 sees the advent of the ‘past’ in the ‘future’ - the trend guides you to open up a dialogue with the past to create a story around the unique pieces of the future.
Taking cue from the FALL 2021 Runway, this capsule range takes its inspiration from the retro pop music arena. An eclectic mix
of fabric blocking, texture spurts, colors and subtle renditions of metallics dominate the explorations. Key aim however remains to keep silhouettes classic while updating and refining along the way.
While reveling in the various fashion concerts on youtube, “Gee, what do you think will transfix the audience visually all through the performance ” became my starting point for THE RETRO POP.
