Dutch Design Week returns to Eindhoven (16 – 24 October 2021), with a city-wide programme of events, exhibitions and initiatives that mark its 20th anniversary. Kazerne’s 2,000 sq m exhibition space is set within former military barracks connected to an industrial warehouse, and the spaces will be showcasing design talent under the title ‘Between No-Longer and Not-Yet’, featuring work by Adaptism, Jet and Pieke Bergmans, Social Label, Giulia Pompilj, Edward van Vliet, and Teun Zwets, among others. Beyond the design week events, Kazerne is an unmissable design destination in its own right, home to eight luxury hotel rooms, a design shop and two restaurants, making it the perfect destination in the city.

Residents of the Rochusbuurt were asked to hand in old household effects to De Buut. The Italian designers make an inventory of the collected material and consider how they can use it to create a temporary, new design facility for De Buut. The public can come and watch during the DDW. There are also lectures followed by a dinner.

ta experiencia me permitió entender la biodiversidad y la cultura de los Andes Peruanos, de una forma más cercana y a través de los colores. Me gusta pensar que esto es solo el principio de muchas investigaciones por hacer y he entendido que no es siempre necesaria una base científica, solo mucha curiosidad y ganas de aprender. Al final, WARMI como MIL nace del conocimiento de diferentes personas, experiencias y disciplinas, y es eso lo que las hace únicas.
