Born in Naples in 1986,
Brunella holds a master’s degree in architecture from “La Sapienza”, in Rome. Her first experience in the jewelry world was in Santiago de Chile, where she learned the Mapuche metalsmithing techniques. After that, she studied under Lucia Massei, Doris Maninger, Peter Bahuius
and Ruudt Peters, and she obteined her BFA in Fine Arts at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence. She has partecipated to many conceptual and technical jewelry workshops held by inernational artists (Susanne Matsché, Elisa Deval, Gastòn Rois, Janos Gabor Varga, Judy McCaig, Christopher Watts, Christoph Zellweger, Patrick Davison, Daniela Malev, Benjamin Storch, Kimiaki Kageyama, Jamie Bennet, Yoko Shimizu, Daniela Boieri, Marzia Rossi) and she has been selected for exhibitions in Barcelona (Spain), Legnica (Poland), Valencia (Spain), Boston (USA) and Florence (Italy). In 2016 she moved to Boston (USA) where she attended the 3D Fine Arts Master program at MassArt under Jill Slosburg-Ackerman and she was the teaching assistant to Professor Heather White in the “Intermediate Jewelry” course. At the same time, she completed an intership at “Embr Labs, supported by the Trust Center for MIT Enterpreneurship and the MIT Venture Mentoring Service”, partecipating as a designer in the “Wristify” project. At the moment, she is working as an indipendent jewelry artist and she is teaching at IED Moda Milan.
