For this project, I produced the catalogue of the exhibition «Regards croisés» which proposes to discover the way Western man looks at «the other» through a contemporary documentary photographic approach, put in correlation with Claude Lévi-Straus’s writings. I chose to translate graphically both the
isolated and often little-known character of Amazonian tribes, through the use of a box set and tone-on-tone impressions, and also the evolution of our view on them, since it is a question of somehow revaluing the image that one can have of indigenous cultures, which is sometimes too reductive, which I wanted to express through the use of the following words.
