Does cloth define the body? Or does the body define the cloth? Are these two co-dependent entities? To what extent our garments express our identity, and to what extent they restrict it? This segment serves as a visual representation of these questions, demonstrating how bodies and garments interact
and give shape, definition and meaning to one another.
As the focal point of this work, movement is a exhibited through this unrehearsed performance of interaction of dancers and garments; a vivid, awkward and graceful display of “moving sculptures”, reflecting the migration of people and mixing of cultures.
