Collectif Zigzag
Eyes on Talents member, Collectif Zigzag, is a young cross-disciplinary collective of designers, artists, craftspeople and researchers. Together, they slalom between practices, territories and imaginaries. United around common values, they question sustainable know-how, responsible materials and circular economy through a free and experimental approach. The collective meets throughout the year for a variety of events, organizing roundtables at design schools, research residencies and exhibitions for the public.
For their first residency, the ten members of Collectif Zigzag gathered around a material, Sidobre granite, at Sénégas Gérard, a Tarn-based company founded in 1971 and certified "zero waste". A week of exchange, experimentation and creation around granite off-cuts and the theme of balance, culminating in an on-site vernissage. A rich residency, where know-how, design and reuse met, and whose research and resulting projects are to be discovered at the next Paris Design Week, from September 12 to 14 at art+art Galerie.
