Frédéric Imbert

Eyes on Talents member, Frédéric Imbert, recently spoke to M Le magazine du Monde about his work, his studio and design, in his workshop in Bernay, Normandy. The interior designer shapes and sculpts luxury furniture and decorative elements. Using raw materials and plaster, his passion is to create from available, salvaged or forgotten materials. Advocating a return to simple beauty, Frédéric Imbert's work shows that luxury can be driven by a new aesthetic and materials that are less flashy than those produced in recent decades.
A French sculptor and interior designer, Frédéric Imbert founded his studio in 2018. In 2023, as part of an ongoing reflection on the impact of their work on nature, the studio began acquiring plots of forest in Normandy with the aim of protecting local biodiversity and actively contributing to its preservation, a way, on their own scale, of reducing the impact of their work on nature, while continuing to create beautiful and useful objects.
