PJ.Lobster optical boutique by El Departamento
Winner of the Month for November
Marking a longstanding collaboration between optical brand PJ.Lobster and design studio El Departamento, the brand’s store in Barcelona’s Born district has been awarded as the winner of the November FRAME Awards. The PJ.Lobster optical boutique employs a stated monochromatic look to create a dynamic retail environment, underscoring the importance of physical space for digitally focused brands. "The project focuses on keeping a monochromatic aesthetic while bringing variation through different textures, finishes and layers," says Nazanin Naeini, exhibition designer at Guggenheim Museum. "The subtle contrast between the pastel green and the stainless steel elevates the space to feel dynamic without adding noise."
