François Jaubert

Eyes on Talents member, François Jaubert, is a former architect who decided to radically change his life and start over with surfboard design. His experience as an architect and his passion for surfing are his main source of inspiration. His approach to craftsmanship and design is based on the aesthetics of surfing and the relationship between the surfer and the natural environment. Concerned about ecological innovation, he has developed a craft based around recycled products and materials for a more creative, sustainable and ecological surf industry. The artist finds materials, such as pallet and cardboard, and creates unique pieces by hand.
