El arquitecto francés François Jaubert dejó de lado su vida profesional para mudarse a Portugal y comenzar a crear tablas de surf con materiales eco-friendly. Sigue leyendo y conoce todo el proceso con nosotros.
Young retired architect, I left architecture After 10 years of working for international offices and European universities. Co-Founder of COMAC in 2011/2015, I left my office life to devote myself to the 'surf culture'.
Surfing is my main source of inspiration, I am using my skills, combining craft
ing and design to express beautiful moments spent in the ocean.
Expressing the thrill of surfing, I developed an approach based on the aesthetics of surfing and the relationship between the surfer and the natural environment.
Concerned about the ecological innovation, I developed a craft around products and recycled materials for a surf industry more creative, sustainable and ecological.

french architect françois jaubert turns trash into eco-friendly surfboards
The city center’s new square and pavilion delivers a two-level proposal: first an urban evolution and then a social answer.
The main goal is to unify three deserted plots into a whole public square connected with the actual city center, composed of the town hall main square, the church, an old bar
n, a village house, an old wash house and the boulevard Perrier.
A meeting, a Project, a XVIIth century barn and a knowlegde. Sharing the passion of the place throughout a restaurant combining the highlight of the country and cultural heritage. The barn is made of traditionals stones walls, three wild openings are facing the North, a clay ground and a skeleton ent
irely recovered with its original tiles. In the South part, a garden looking onto a street facing the city hall. A frame full of history.
