Studio BrichetZiegler
Eyes on Talents member, Studio BrichetZiegler, is participating in the Home Made. Create, Produce, Live exhibition at CID Grand-Hornu in Belgium with their paper lamp, homemade during the lockdown as part of the Manufact’Home program of the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès. From October 15 to February 11, the exhibition questions the new meaning of homemade. In the era of open source technologies, remote working and Covid-19 lockdowns, what links are being forged between the domestic space, work and objects? How are cities and regions preparing to manage this new network of creators, small producers and engaged users?
Created in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio BrichetZiegler proposes a transversal and open-ended vision of design. With a deep understanding of know-how, they take a new look at materials and forms. In 2015, seeking to develop another field of expression and experimentation, they were among the first French designers to explore the field of self production by creating the By Hands collection. A family of objects and furniture, imagined, designed and made by themselves in their workshop, in limited edition.
