I was commissioned by YKK (www.ykkfastening.com) to make a pair of shoes using their fastenings in a new and innovative way. The shoe is made using moulded vegetable tanned leather so the contours of the foot can be seen from the outside but the inside is hidden using the new YKK S-spring snap button
