In collaboration with Cathy Meyong, a final-year womenswear student (2023) from Central Saint Martins, we embarked on an ambitious project to create a distinctive bag design. Our creation, known as the iconic horn structure bag, draws inspiration from the twisted horn of the desert buffalo, a signifi
cant symbol in African culture.
This project was a fusion of fashion and cultural symbolism, where Cathy’s expertise in womenswear design complemented my skills in accessory construction. Together, we conceptualized and brought to life a bag that not only serves as a functional accessory but also as a statement piece reflecting intricate cultural elements.
