The kimono hiking suit is a cross cultural, gender free take on modern suiting. It features a wealth of adjustable design features that create the physical and emotional space for a changing body. The zero waste pattern used to construct this suit utilizes 100% of the material, as opposed to modern
pattern standards which waste around 20%. This provides a solution to kimonos, which due to the declining style and population of Japan have become a waste material, as well as builds a bridge between Eastern and Western culture through design.
