My graduate collection, Mimesis, explored the vulnerability of domesticity, through my Belgian heritage, from Chantal Akerman’s 1975 masterpiece ‘Jeanne Dielman’ to Baudelaire's diaries on his time in the Belgian capital, the flemish Singeries paintings, the philosophies of the situationist movement
to the works of American artist Ross Bleckner. All carefully circling back to each other.
