I believe my insatiable interest in historical research far beyond the realms of fashion and its subsequent interpretation into contextually substantiated narratives to fuel design is the biggest asset I can bring to any institution.

My graduate collection, Mimesis, explored the vulnerability of domesticity, through my Belgian heritage, from Chantal Akerman’s 1975 masterpiece ‘Jeanne Dielman’ to Baudelaire's diaries on his time in the Belgian capital, the flemish Singeries paintings, the philosophies of the situationist movement to the works of American artist Ross Bleckner. All carefully circling back to each other.

Having family background in department stores I have a keen eye for tailoring and surface design is pivotal to my work, I am therefore skilled in pattern cutting, sewing and a wide array of textile manipulations.
Whilst my values direct me to a passion between pencil and paper, hand to fabric; I am very proficient in the use of modern CAD technologies, Ai, Ps, Id in the production of design, print, embellishment mock-ups, technical drawings, spec sheets and lay plans.

I am a perfectionist, punctual, polite, kind and relentlessly reliable. I avidly take initiative and have been commended many times for my ethics in past employment experiences.
I am fluent in English, French and am actively restoring my Flemish/Dutch skills.
