Nicolas Bruno suffers from a condition called sleep paralysis, a condition that occurs during sleep when the dreamer is experiencing nightmares and moments of terror, and the dreamer is unable to react.
This experience of hopelessness caused to you in your most trusted, safest place of all your bed, left a mark on me.
Bruno finds a hilling way for his soul throw his photography, he recreates moments from his dreams according to a dream diary he maintains and manages to recreate situations that exist only in his head, from the deepest place in his mind and soul out to our physical been and by that manages to gain his control back.
In my project, I used elements and textiles that originated from the bedroom- old cover beds, sheets, and so on... which Treasures in them a piece of history and most of all, a memory.
When we dream the most sacred places in our minds are unleashed, they find a place of freedom, of liberation.
I wanted to create a dialog between the liberation that exist in our subconscious and the form it appears in when experiencing sleep paralysis.
