My reasons for applying
My number one priority when approaching this matter is to raise the awareness over the damages of the fashion industry today, and to point the finger at the fast fashion industry.
My relevant interests and experience
I am a fashion design student, currently in my third year, this for me has been a year of facing, i faced the true cost of what i have been passioned about for my hole life from a different angle, a more mature one that seeks to make a difference, to create change in the fashion world. I want to believe that it is possible to make it, that it is possible to act differently, and by taking on the challenge that is this competition, I got the tools and confidence to understand that in order to do this, my entire design thinking should be with that in mind.
What sustainability means to me
sustainability for me is a chance, a chance to continue pursuing my passion of designing while still maintaining my responsibility toward our future.
How you would benefit from the award
This award can be useful for me in order to develop myself as a young brand, to upgrade the way I work today towards a future that can be my first step within this industry in order to make a living from the thing I love doing the most.

My number one priority when approaching this matter is to raise the awareness over the damages of the fashion industry today, and to point the finger at the fast fashion industry.
I intend to Challenge fashion hierarchies, in order to disrupt the existing orders.
I believe that the economic aspect and basically the capitalist society dictates the destructive and predatory effect embodied in the fashion industry today and that for creating a true difference we must resist it
We live in a time of awakens, The foundation stones for building a post-capitalist society have already been laid before us and it is our time and responsibility as a society to promote them.

Detailed Description of My Idea:
How your idea will impact Society
One of my main goals was to conduct research on protests and riots, as well as their causes, effects, and solutions. I want to understand how these acts of disobedience can be used as inspiration for future generations who may want to challenge their own systems of power. there is a lack of awareness and understanding over ethical fashion values among consumers, I believe that by looking at the fast fashion industry we can learn a great deal on how they affect clothing production processes and how they influence consumer behavior. By doing so, we can better understand how clothing is made, how it's sold, what kinds of products people buy, and what kinds of messages they may be sending through their purchases and hopefully make people understand their responsibility. It’s time for sustainable fashion to step up and take action, there for I have develop my own protest proposal in hope to revolutionize the way we think about clothing. I am taking action by disrupting the existing order by using my portrait as a form of protest against The environmental damage produced by the fashion industry. I decided to use existing materials only in my project because I wanted to show that there are ways we can reduce our impact on the environment without sacrificing quality or style. I intend to use torn parachutes, instead of them being thrown away after they have served their purpose, old pairs of denim- one of the most piloting materials there are in the fashion and textile industry to raise the awareness and leftovers pieces of fabric from a factory that had to be shot down. My goal is to create a new generation of protesters who will make their voices heard through their protest attire: apocalyptically stylish uniforms with messages printed on them in protest against environmental damage caused by unsustainable fashion practices.

My project was a part from a competition sponsored be Dizingof center and I won a scholarship for it. Dizingof center is a huge trading center in Israel, They have an amazing initiative to promote the issue of sustainability in their mall, they invest a lot of resources to reduce electrical energy, They Develop organic agriculture, promote the issue of recycling and are an example of an employer who acts in unconventional ways and not with an economic thought for the well-being of the employees but with a genuine desire to create a healthy work environment.
