Stefanos Chrysafis won both the Best Catwalk Award and the sponsor’s one. The young talent from Athens was showing for the very first time, after graduating from the IED- European Design Institute in Madrid. His collection – complemented by a short fashion film opening the show – channelled a world
of body modification, post atomic aesthetics and neo goth vibes, with layering wrapping the body in dynamic draperies. “I found inspiration in the wide range of mental disabilities” he told us in the backstage “to which I added the usual craziness of the fashion world. The future? I definitely want to do another show in Greece, and build up the brand, before looking abroad: there’s no borders in fashion, I guess”.
Athens Exclusive Designers Week, is one of the biggest fashion events in Greece.
The 21st edition, blessed by the apperance of the Dsquared, took place from 31st March to 3rd April 2017, at Zappeion Hall, where fashion designers, famous fashion brands and new fashion talents presented new fashion
trends, for the Fall / Winter 2017 / 2018.
