The provision in our assignment has been the topic of dreams. Overall, we are both very fascinated with dreams and what significance they have in our everyday lives. The word dream is a term that in everyday speech can both refer to one's waking imaginations - that is, something we imagine or that we have a desire to happen. At the same time, it can refer to our inner experiences, that is, what we experience when we sleep and then dream. We are especially fascinated with dreams that arise when we sleep. We find it exciting that dreams can be part of our subconscious and later maybe an expression of our lives.
As a starting point in our bachelor project, we have registered each other's dreams. We have each made a dream book where we have documented our dreams. These dreams have been the starting point for our design process. With inspiration from the art direction Surrealism as well as the inspiration from our dreams, we have built sculptures that have been the inspiration for our final designs. This is both in terms of form and print.
