This BA degree collection sought inspiration in the migratory birds , in the overlapping textures of feathers. I interpreted this aesthetic in my own way using techniques such as embroidery, textured and overlapped knitwear, and patchworks of different fabrics in different colors.
The shape

...

/silhouette of the collection was based on the bird's silhouette with closed wings, more massive and rounded at the top of the body, tapering as they approach the hips.
The outfits are most of the time organic, rounded and deconstructed, being a counterpart to the more rigid pieces such as tuxedos, blazers and jackets.
The color range was also influenced by nature, as in birds contrary to what happens to men, females are neutral and unobtrusive appearance while males are more flashy, colorful and eccentric. So I split the collection in these two chromatic families: “the female” as more sober colors brown, black, straw, beige and yellow, and “the male”as brightest , vibrant and warm colors, ranging from lemon yellow to turquoise, pink through the purple, green, blue, black and white, using the gold to light.
Noble and natural fabrics such as silk organza, crepe georgette, silk shantung, cotton organza, in opposition to the linen, the satin, the borate silk and leather, helped me to compose the wealth of this migratory universe.
