Following a degree in Economics at Bocconi University and a fifteen-year career in investment banking, Annalisa Burello has attained a BA (Hon) Photography at the University of Westminster, year 2019. She is currently researching the role of Art in Spirituality and how spiritual practices and creativ
ity are linked at a neurological level. These investigations have brought her to inquire and later adopt meditation as a mental practice to access, release and sustain untapped creativity via supporting a greater integration of the Right Hemisphere’s mode of thinking with the Left Hemisphere’s one.
Her ultimate mission is to be a proponent of Art as an valid avenue for agnostic people in which to cultivate and explore their innate spirituality, of which creativity is only one dimension. She is a firm believer that creative activities like art, and spiritual practices like meditation, are essential to our mental and physical well-being. At the highest level, Art should play a fundamental role for the correct functioning of our materialistic and secular societies.
She is also a mother of two.
