ALICE: An AR Footwear collection, part of When Nowhere becomes Now Here project.

Collaboration with designer Romain Portier from the London College of Fashion for their bachelor's degree show. I created the footwear and morph animations.

This is a special project, it brings into conversation the

role of clothing and how it plays in the paradigm of binary. It talks about sustainability, as it speculates that we will consume fashion digitally. The storytelling on how society has been build to fit groups into molds and define them. What happens when you have an individual that does not conform and lives their truth? Garments, footwear, accessories don't have gender, its for everyone. Right away I knew what I wanted to design a shoe that represented this, hence Alice was born.

I was very inspired by the movie The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland, Alice is the shoe that lives in our reality. Alice, the earth shoe, transforms into the seven digital forms. Grey themselves, Alice digitally morphs, depending on the world that the user is visiting, into their virtual self.

All shoes are available on Spark AR as filters.
