Tasseurs bi-matière en bois “recyclé”.
Les petites scieries peinent souvent à écouler, autrement qu’en bois de chauffage, leurs stocks de bois abîmés ou attaqués par les insectes xylophages. Ce projet se fonde sur la valorisation de chutes d’acacia, de douglas et de noyer, essences emblèmes de l’Auv
ergne.
Au fil des veines et fissures, l’étain blanc épouse le bois. Textures et contrastes se révèlent au tournage : mat/brillant, veiné/uni, chaud/froid. Ces émotions influencent alors le savoir-faire du barista.

Bi-material tampers from “recycled” wood.
Small sawmills often struggle to sell their stocks of damaged wood or attacked by xylophagous insects. This project is based on the revaluation of acacia, douglas and walnut falls, emblematic wood species of Auvergne.
Throughout veins and cracks, white pewter marries the wood. Textures and contrasts are revealed during woodturning : matt / shiny, veined / plain, warm / cold. These emotions influence the barista know-how.
