The Volkolak type family is my graduation project. It started with the romantic idea of designing an "organic" sans serif font. To do that, I decided to design a grotesque an a didot, two aesthetically different styles, at the same time, and on the same structure. From this mix was born a third style
, a contrasted sans. The family consists of three styles, with multiple optical sizes for each.
This project was a great opportunity to immerse myself in the design of a pretty large and ambitious project, where I got lost for a bit, but where I then learned a lot about design in general.
