With Danish design traditions as a starting point we will learn from the past and the present with the aim of shaping a better and more sustainable future through artistic practice. The program offers approaches and methods that together point towards fostering new narratives and landscapes of fashion
, clothing and textiles for the 21st Century and onwards. Building on Scandinavian design principles for collaboration and participation the students will obtain competencies for developing their design in various systemic contexts such as e.g. communities, organizations, companies etc. As such the program builds on user-led design approaches and the idea of democratic design that supports plurality and diversity at all levels; be that gender, race, colour, age or other.
