EDGE is a series of furnitures integrating light within their structure.
The project is the result of a personal research that perpetuates light and explores different ways of using it.
EDGE is inspired by a sentence from famous architect Louis Sullivan «form fo
llows function».
Here, it is now the light that follows function since this project is a research on the positioning of the lighting element.
Furnitures’ shape, function and use have all an impact on the position of the light itself.
The light becomes a structural element as part of the furniture.
«Light follows function» is the concept behind this project.
