The ideal case scenario for these design proposals would before Vetements to continue the design collaborations it started for the SS17 collection. This would enable the collaborating brands to raise the value of their leftover stock, instead of selling it during stock sa
les on 70% off. It will definitely solve the quality issue of second-hand source. These collaborating partners could possibly become permanent partners and Vetements could split the profit with them. So, it would be a win-win situation. For the product categories that I have worked with during this project, the brand could be Levi’s for denim, Comme des GarÇons SHIRT for the shirts, Brioni for suiting and Champion and Hanes for t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and jersey dresses.
