金工作家浦中廣太郎とコラボし製作した鋳造作品。
3Dプリンターは普通は量産や同じものをたくさん作るために発展してきたが、１点もののための活用法を考え、自然物をスキャンし一部として取り込み鋳造を行った。
「What's Miru?」というのは、日本語の見るには『見る、観る、視る、診る、看る』という様々な『ミル』があります。
私たちは、『全体を見て→観察をし→凝視する』というこの１連の流れを生み出せないかということで、オブジェ的だがよく観ると構造的であるようなものをデザインした。
I did a collaboration project with Kotaro Uranaka who is
metal craftsman.
This time we focus on 3D printer and Casting technic. 3D printer is used for mass production. However, this time we scan the nature materials with CT. And I created a 3D shape from nature objects. So the 3D data become on-off date. Because the Completely same shape doesn't not exist in this nature field.
