So we can easily take, turn and put lid on the table .

食事を演出する鍋の蓋
この鍋の蓋はMauveil１８３０に提案した蓋です。
蓋は蒸したり火入れを行う際に使いますが、使い終わると蒸気により発生した水滴が落ちる問題や、鍋の取手が真ん中についているため水滴を落とさないように置こうとすると手に当たりやけどしてしまうこともあります。
そこで鍋の取手を端に取り付け、一部に平面を作ったことにより、水滴がそこにたまり端に持ち手がある事で手に当たる危険性も減らす事にした。
また持ち手が端っこにある事で蓋を開ける動作がオーバーになり、食卓で蓋を開く際にどんな物が出てくるのだろうという期待感を演出する効果を生み出している。
