Maxime Prangé
Eyes on Talents member, Maxime Prangé, is a creator at the crossroads of photography, design and installation. His works invite the viewer on a journey towards luminous horizons; from landscapes to sensations, Maxime Prangé seeks to make light tangible. In April, at Alcova Milano 2026, he presented Washi No Akari, a collection bringing together different types of luminaires, all animated by the same evocative force of Japan’s luminous sentiments, embedded in washi paper and its cultural uses. Washi No Akari explores light as a threshold between the inner and outer self, the interior and exterior, day and night. Each piece crafted in his studio is unique, shaped by the artisanal processes that give rise to horizons made of washi paper and vegetal inks. A collection that seeks to bring us together in the sensory experience of the world.
