Karl Mazlo

Eyes on Talents member, Parisian jeweller Karl Mazlo, is exhibiting at the IMMERSION/S show organised by FAFCEA, which celebrates the excellence of French know-how and craftsmanship. This year's edition will be held from 10 to 12 October in the Marais district of Paris and will feature artisans working in a wide range of materials, from wood, metal, paper and ceramics to glass, stone and precious metals. Laureate of the Prix Liliane Bettencourt pour l'Intelligence de la Main in 2021 for his work Black Garden, a sculpture in which a ring and its receptacle coexist, Karl Mazlo works with textures and contrasts to revisit contemporary jewellery. Using traditional techniques that are often forgotten, he brings singular pieces to life. His aim is to redefine the codes of jewellery by offering contemporary pieces made from natural, raw and often little-known materials, seeking to reveal their natural essence by blending tradition and modernity.
