All sustainable fabrics, materials, fragments and objects were carefully selected, collected and assembled over a long period of time.
A creative process was created in which it is natural to work with existing materials.
The result is a sustainable collection that combines luxury and the history of
vintage objects and fragments. Each glass bag is a complex, innovative and creative one-of-a-kind. The design process involved working across borders. It was freely served from art, craft, manufacture as well as nature.
Each bag is created individually and in an intuitive process.
There was a desire to create creative, complex series without neglecting the important craftsmanship.
The concept combines the old and the new and is paired with a modern, reflective, strong 21st century image of women who take responsibility. It includes an appreciation of the individual fragment and the associated artistic exploration and recomposition of a wide variety of materials and materialities.
This work is an invitation to actively and consciously perceive and observe one's environment and everything that surrounds us. It is about questioning functions of objects, transforming the form or the actual purpose into something else if necessary, in order to create something new.
Bags that represent artificial ecosystems with flora and fauna to remind us how essential it is to protect our resources and our earth.
