"Stretch" bracelets are designed to be easily attached to the wrist by the user.
Putting on a bracelet on its own can be difficult for any user, but for someone with fine motor problems, it can be an impossible task.
With this project, I wanted to rethink the gesture of putting on a bracelet to make

it more accessible to everyone, but also to make an elegant object, because inclusivity also means offering everyone the possibility of affording to wear beautiful things.
So the idea was to combine practicality and aesthetics in a single bracelet.
By working with senior citizens and disabled people, the starting point for my project was to eliminate the use of traditional opening systems, which are considered by everyone to be too difficult to use. By working with larger parts and with an elasticity system, I made it easier to hold and easier to move. I then had to rethink the whole process of putting it on, so that one hand was enough to do it.
Leather and metal emerged as elegant and practical materials to use in jewelry, available in a wide range of colors and shapes.
