My graduate collection examines how discarded materials can gain new value through an outerwear collection. Every year, many textiles from the Security industries are discarded because of high requirements. This thesis examines how these materials and their properties as heat-insulating and wind and
waterproof can be utilized in an outerwear collection for Grünbag. As well as how these materials can be socially accepted and whether the stories behind the materials can add value to them.
