Spray paint on polystyrene, brazed iron bars, video installation, acrylic on canvas, inkjet print glued on canvas, pipe insulations, 5 × 4,5 × 2,3 m
The background of my series is borders and the space creating itself from it, that builds up a relation of proximity and distance. At the same time, I
work with common materials.
The rhythm of the display of the wall clock (designer: Nicolas Le Moigne) at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne is two seconds of invisibility of time and 58 seconds of visibility of time. I chose to organise the photographies of the videos of the broken wall surfaces and broken screens in this rhythm. The video of the horizon line is a «One-Shot-Video» of one minute.
