In October 2024, I had the chance to join the association Manifact in French Guiana and lead a group of interns in the design field. The aim was to spark their creativity and guide them toward becoming independent in their own projects.
Throughout the program, we discussed important topics like susta
inability, the responsibility that comes with producing new things, and the importance of care and context in the creative process.
As part of the "tremplin numérique" digital program, they explored essential digital tools for design. For their final sewing project, they used digital technical drawings, 3D modeling for pocket closures, digital embroidery machine and shared their progress on social medias.
