The Reebok Classic Leather Legacy is very interesting for me because it fully represents the mix between its legacy and the idea of moving forward. I was even more interested when I learnt that I wasn’t the only one to participate to this campaign. I like the fact that other artists are also going to

share their stories, their experiences and their legacies. That’s what makes the strength of a project : the mix of different ideas.
During my creating process I realized I was very interested by this idea of « moving forward ». I tried to translate the concepts of the past, the present and the futur through the image of a fruit, with its peelings and its different forms.
I found this idea when I saw the Reebok logo, I thought it looked like an orange.
In my work, I like to go to places that aren’t mine to take pictures. It’s the idea of everyday life that I was talking about, I like to play with it.
These days, the light coming from my window interests me a lot. This same window overlooks a small grocery store, selling some fruits and vegetables. The grocery store is a meeting point, a gathering place. These fruits and vegetables remind me of this idea of local. They’re reminding me of all the food I used to dig up and pick from my grandparents garden. Food represents a legacy by its cultivation, it’s important for the young generations to continue this legacy.
