Woven pleats are combined with colours and patterns to create textiles which shift in appearance when viewed from different angles.
The collection consists of three textiles which show different ways in which th
is shift can take place. Two are handwoven and one is woven on an industrial jacquard loom.
A textile which changes in this way can motivate the viewer to move around it in order to discover new aspects. The relation between the viewer and the textile is highlighted, as well as the surface structure element of woven textiles.
