My universe: Family is inspired by my family becoming bigger and diverse through merging different ethnicities and cultures. My family was a single culture, ethnic-family. Now, my family is consist of Korean, Chinese American, and Trinidadian American. I was able to merge with them without any concer
ns and repulsion due to that my parents taught me and my sisters how to love and understand differences. Thus, I wanted to explore the change in my family values. To start that journey, I began with understanding and appreciating my heritage and adding different aesthetics to it.
