I imagined that a glass foam powder mixture could act as a glass blower when heated inside ordinary glass. With Rennes 1 university's (school of chemistry) scientific glass blower, we did numerous tests by varying quantities, ingredients, and heating techniques. We obtained a series of bulb like obje
cts that varied in transparence, color and shape.
These lamps can be the last object that we use during the day. They are lit up by a 3000 kelvin light that simulates the sunset. The light is soft and looks starlit. The base of the lamp is in ceramic and does not conduct electricity.
