With honors
Design of a mountaineering shop in the heart of the city from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. I wanted this shop to echo the risky and dizzying activities that can be practiced around the Mont-Blanc.
In a environment of high mountain look like, I imagined an e
xperience where the customer moves around high steep walls that he crosses through narrow faults.
The large vertical walls are open at the base to put emphasis on the feeling of vertigo. The products are not presented in piles on shelves but are hung on cables like a «via ferrata», or on the side of the wall at eye level.
