HEROIN project is my collection for the thesis for the BA degree in Fashion Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli.

Heroin Project was born from the reading of several graphic novels including "Saga" (Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples) and "Golem" (LRNZ), in which new female models and new

futures were proposed. I was deeply fascinated by them and I also wanted to propose an idea of what could be the near future through my collection.

My women have become heroines, each with its own identity, with its own story, each with something that would make it unique and recognizable, despite the uniformity to which we will be subject in the near future. Scorpio, Leo, Aries and Capricon, these are their names, are the protagonists of a world in ruins and yet they move within it with grace and pride, not forgetting all that has been, bringing new light.

The study of this new femininity has also manifested itself in the shapes and volumes of the clothes: clean, geometric, which border on the two-dimensionality of the page. Layering and patterns are what gives volume to the collection. The colors are identifying each individual outfit, guaranteeing each one a different personality. The style is deliberately futuristic and above all consistent with what are the needs related to movement and practicality.

Each heroine has a symbol that characterizes it. Thanks to AR (Augmented Reality) it is possible to scan with an app the symbols, present on the pins or on one of the leather accessories, and access the story of each character. All of this was made for opening further scenarios and expanding the very concept of the individual's singularity making it accessible to all and easily shared through multimedia content.

HEROIN project was presented on 4 July 2019 in Altaroma during the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli Graduate Fashion Show.
