GOLDEN EGGS : Gifts from a fall between the train and the platform (MA collection / IFM) - 2013

After really falling into the gap between the train and the platform in Paris (september 2012) , a different "relief" appeared on my left leg due to blow. A kind of deformation, of asymmetry that bothered everyone, except me.

the symmetries, the rounded shape and freedom of movement within a garment.
The Golden Eggs collection was inspired by the beauty and strangeness of these deformations and by the rigid and industrial elements present in the train stations, the location of the fateful but opportune fall.
A mix between organic lines and straight ones, big drapes with structured fabrics, extra large shapes that reveal its structure, its interior, its content (many times showing the lining as a essential part of the outfit). Very special fabrics being attached by large metallic screws. Mix.
It is about freedom, about volume and about the strength in the calculated 'imperfection'.
