This project was worked on during my last year at the School of Visual Arts (2013-2016). This project was inspired by 1950s Film Noir. I was interested in the display of characters through light, posing, and tension within frames and wanted to make a body of work that built a story while looking thro
ugh the pictures. These pictures are self portraits, photographs of friends and models, both on and off the streets of New York.
